I Think My School Laptop Has A Virus?
Ok So im using my school computer at home because my laptop is being fixed because i had a rootkit infestation on my computer
So anyway i brought it home and downloaded STOPzilla on it
Now it looked really dodgey but i was told to (not by my teacher)
So anyway since then i have been having a problem with the internet
a load of pictures have been coming up just as a Mc Afee Symbol and the advertisments on bebo come up as a meebo chatroom where im talking to real people i kno
im really confused and dont know what to do
they bought really expensive laptops with no expensive anti virus programs! they put on the mcafee FREE TRIAL!!!!
So i cant download any software and i havnt got a reliable anti virus (unless you could Clamwin) what should i do?
Without breaking the computer this is the last one left
15 stolen from my school on thursday night
its a big school but there were only 16 laptops
so i really need to keep this safe and working

I hate asking questions and im sooo close to level 2 but i wont make it today

try buying a good anti – virus like Kaspersky or NOD32(recommended) in a mall or something, try to buy one in your PC shops, then install it to your laptop, then do a scan, or if you can, update it first.. then full scan
